MY STORY & PHILOSOPHY

I am a Interior designer from London with a love of natural, neutral design and textiles. My love of sourcing traditional and handmade fabrics from around the world has culminated in me opening my online Cushion Studio, where I use remains of fabric from my work as a designer and transform them into beautiful cushions for your home.

Having always been inspired by design and interiors, I chose to take a different path in my career and worked in Management for several years. But following a life changing diagnosis, I realised that creativity is at my core, and using my hands to create is what makes me feel alive. I made the transition to train as an Interior Designer and have never looked back.

 

It is during my training that I realised what really gives someone's home that feeling of cosiness and personality is the texture in the soft furnishings that finish a room. Sometimes unable to find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to start making my own cushions. I often had offcuts of beautiful fabric which I did not want to throw away, so in the of spirit of sustainability I chose to repurpose my ends of rolls into new beautiful creations. I am also always looking to source new independent artisans who create and design fabrics to use for my collection.

As I grow I am looking to stock my cushions in local shops and further afield, as well as work with other Interior Designers on trade enquiries.
